In 2006, Chorney Enterprises Pty. Ltd. conducted ground breaking research on Tourism development in the Mannum area. As a result they won the Australian Federal Government Tourism Development Grant (ATDP) to assist in the establishment of "Riverview Rise Retreats", currently the only 5 Star, land based, Accommodation facility in the Region.

The team’s research indicated that the quality, high yield tourism accommodation market had strong feasibility in Regional South Australia and held considerable opportunities for those deciding to pursue this direction.  The success of  “Riverview Rise Retreats” is now proof of the research.
